Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actor, director, producer, playwright and teacher in St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was born to a British father and an British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. In her early years Anna was a part of a variety of commercials on television. Anna relocated out of Toronto in 1999 to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They were engaged by 2009, after they got married. Anna began her journey to becoming a Jewish woman at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism. They were wed in a civil ceremony in December that year and then renewed their vows during the Jewish wedding ceremony that took place in Fredericton, in April 2011. Bo's same-sex relationship to Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was highlighted on CNN's list of the top Favorite TV Couples as well as named the most popular TV Couple in 2013, by E! Entertainment Television. The show's success has led to Anna growing a substantial online following on social media.
