Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood was born in the state of Arkansas, and was raised there. She went on to become a TV host for the daytime talkshow The Talk. Born in Arkansas she grew up within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from a troubled family. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered from the disease of Polio. As a child, her relations with her mother were not always smooth. Sheryl claims that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father because he was becoming too close to her. Sheryl joined up the military right after her graduation from the college. But her passion was comedy. The only woman that made it to the competition in 1989 Miller Lite Comedy Search. She started her TV career after becoming frequently performing on the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She also appeared in 2000 as host of the television show Oh Drama! In 2011, she began being in The Talk as co-host. Additionally, she's played fictional roles in series such as Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
